Why we exist

A campus food outlet has a brutal shape to its day. Nothing happens for two hours, then a lecture ends and two hundred people arrive at once. The queue is long, the staff are stressed, orders get taken wrong, and a third of the people at the back give up and leave. The outlet loses the sale; the customer loses their break.

Clicky Collect removes the queue from the middle of that. Customers order ahead from their phone, pay from a prepaid wallet held with the outlet, and come to a counter where their food is already bagged with a code on it. The outlet gets a smooth stream of orders it can actually prepare instead of a wall of people, and it captures the sales it was losing at the back of the line.

What we actually sell

We sell software to outlets, on a monthly subscription. That's our entire business model. One subscription per outlet covers the customer ordering app, the staff app, the wallet and ledger, POS integration, and support. Prices start at 499 EGP per month and are published in full on our pricing page — no per-order commission, no cut of the customer's basket, no surprise fees.

Customers never pay us anything. They don't buy an app, they don't pay a service charge, and they don't pay a delivery fee — there is no delivery. They pay only for their food, and that money goes to the outlet.

How we handle money

This is the part we're most careful about, and the part we'd want you to check. Customer money never passes through Clicky Collect. When a customer tops up their wallet, the payment is processed by a licensed payment gateway and settles directly into the outlet's own merchant account. We are not a bank, not a payment provider, and not a money-transfer service — we're the software that records the balance and makes sure every movement adds up.

What we do provide is the accounting rigour behind it: a double-entry, append-only ledger where every top-up, hold, capture and refund is recorded and can be traced; automated daily reconciliation between the wallet, the payment gateway and the outlet's till; and an audit log that can't be edited after the fact. If the numbers ever disagree, we want the system to say so on the same day, not at the end of the month. The full picture is on our Funds & Liability page.

Where we are

We're based in Alexandria, Egypt, and that's where we started: in beta with outlets serving the AAST Abu Qir campus. We're rolling out across Alexandria's campuses and business parks, and building for the rest of Egypt from there. Being local matters here — we support in Arabic and English, we bill in Egyptian Pounds, we integrate with the point-of-sale systems Egyptian outlets actually run, and when something breaks you can reach a person on WhatsApp.

How we work

• The outlet is the merchant. They own the customer relationship, the money and the food. We're infrastructure, not a marketplace, and we don't put your customers in someone else's app.
• Prices are published. What you see on the pricing page is what you pay. If we quote a custom integration, you get a fixed number before any work starts.
• Money is auditable by construction. Not reconciled after the fact — built so it can't drift in the first place.
• Small and reachable. You get the people who build the product, not a ticket queue.
